Sensory Awareness is a meditative practice. In stillness and in gentle movement, we bring our fullest attention to what we are sensing moment to moment. In our sensing, we become most simply and fully ourselves, and discover what is there to be trusted.
The next series of classes will begin on Sunday May 19, 10am to 11:30. These classes take place in Toronto near Christie and Bloor, close to the subway. There will be five Sunday classes in this series.
Dates: May 19, June 2, June 16, June 30, July 13
In each class, we will begin by checking in, and then spend some time in Sensing. That means taking time to bring your fullest possible awareness to what you are noticing in your subtle sensations. Often the inner chatter quiets as you begin to notice the habitual tensions in your body, and notice where letting go wants to happen. I will guide the exploration with questions and invitations that bring new awareness. There will be opportunity to share your discoveries and see how your experiences are part of the patterns of relating to your life.
I have been a psychotherapist for 25 years, and I have been practicing Sensing for the past ten years.
